Welfare Reforms - so what??

Well, as an employer, the Welfare Reforms will potentially impact your business.

These impacts have the potential to be both advantageous and disadvantageous to employers, but many employers simply don't know how they will affect their business.

Yes, the Welfare Reforms are designed to deliver a different structure of benefit payment to individuals, so how does that affect an employer?

The individuals receiving benefits could easily be your employee!

But how do you know that may be? Well, unless they've told you, you don't! But it really could affect YOU as an employer!
Figures vary but the closest estimate is 64% of all households are in receipt of some form of social security benefits, so there's a high probability that at least one of your employees might be in receipt of benefits.

52% of those receiving benefits are in work!

To raise awareness of how this might actually affect your business and offer assistance and point you towards support, we would be pleased to visit you and provide an overview of how the Welfare Reform changes could affect your business. These visits are entirely free and are fully funded by the Big Lottery.
