Caithness.Org & Hijobs team up to offer better deal for North recruiters
3rd September 2006
Two of the north's top websites have teamed up to offer local companies and organisations a cost-effective alternative to the so-called traditional media when they need to advertise for new staff. For as little as £80 (ex VAT) for voluntary organisations, or £100 per week for other recruiters, job vacancies in Caithness, Sutherland and Orkney can now be advertised on www.hijobs.co.uk, covering the whole of the Highlands and Islands, and here on Caithness.Org, Scotland's most popular community website.
Job seekers will be able to find and apply for local vacancies on the two high-profile websites as Bruce Wares, Business Development Manager for Hijobs, explained: "Recruitment advertising in the press can often prove to be an expensive and
time-consuming business. Working together, we can offer advertisers a competitively priced alternative and job applicants can apply for vacancies at any time, speeding up the process for them."
"Our partnership with a site as popular and respected as Caithness.Org is a really exciting prospect for us. We've had a fine first month of trading with 40,000 pages viewed on our site from across the UK and Europe, and top recruiters like Lifescan Scotland, UHI Millennium Institute and AWS Ocean Energy are using us. From September all the vacancies we feature in Caithness, Sutherland and Orkney will also appear on Caithness.org, a really great deal for advertisers."
Bill Fernie said: "We are delighted that Caithness.Org will be able offer details of many more jobs from one of the fastest growing recruitment companies in Scotland. With the addition of Hijobs opportunities going into our pages we are certain that employers and potential employees will appreciate the new service."
