Armadale Medical Practice Transferred To Nhs Highland

NHS Highland will take over the responsibility for running Armadale Medical Practice in Sutherland from Friday 1 July 2023.

We have worked closely with Armadale Medical Practice over the last few months to ensure continuity of care and an effective transfer of responsibility.

Jill Mitchell, NHS Highland's Head of Primary Care for North Highland, said: "NHS Highland has taken over the responsibility of running Armadale Medical Practice following the retirement of the two GP partners.

"We want to thank Dr Herfurt and Dr Le-Mar for their service to the community over the years.

“We are pleased that we have been able to secure locum GPs to deliver primary care services in Armadale for the foreseeable future."
