Revised Opening Times At Service Points

The Highland Council will complete a phased introduction of new opening hours at its network of 35 Service Points next week. Opening hours have already been amended at Fort Augustus, Grantown, Hilton (Inverness), Golspie, Brora, Tain, Invergordon, Alness, Kingussie and Aviemore.
From Monday 15 August, Gairloch Service Point will be open Monday - Friday between 9.30am and 1pm.
From Wednesday 17 August, new opening hours will be introduced at Service Points at Wick, Thurso, Nairn, Lochcarron, Ullapool, Muir of Ord, Lairg, Dingwall, Dornoch, Fortrose, Portree, Inverness, Mallaig and Acharacle. The new hours are:-
Wick: Monday - Friday between 9.30am and 4.30pm
Thurso: Monday - Friday between 9.30am and 4.30pm
Nairn: Monday - Friday between 9.30am and 4pm
Lochcarron: Monday - Friday 9.30am to 1pm
Ullapool: Monday - Friday 9.30am to 1pm
Muir of Ord: Monday - Friday 9.30am to 1pm
Lairg: Monday - Friday 9.30am to 1pm
Dingwall: Monday - Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm
Dornoch: Monday - Friday 9am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4pm
Fortrose: Monday - Friday 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm
Portree: Monday - Friday 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm
Inverness: Monday - Friday 9.30am to 5pm
Mallaig: Thursday and Friday 9am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 5pm
Acharacle will be on a Tuesday from 11am to 2.30pm.
Service Points will continue to offer access to a range of Council services and for complex enquiries, such as Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages, the Customer Services Network will provide an appointments service.
All changes to opening hours will be advertised on the Council's website and via posters displayed in the affected offices. Customers can also contact the Council by telephone on 01349 886606 Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat 9am-12pm.
