Open Day For The Community To See Gordonbush Wind Farm Near Brora

SSE who built the Gordonbush wind farm comprising 35 turbines organised visit for peolpe to see the windfarm and get more information about community benefits.

The information showed the number of jobs during construction, the road improvements and a new bridge to be constructed shortly along with information about the community fnd already set up and now oopen for applications.

The bus trip carried members of the public and the Sutherland Schools Pipe Band who played at the hall then at the wind farm site itself.

SSE is now major sponsor of the pipe band.
