People invited to SNH reception in Bonar Bridge
26th November 2013
Local people are being invited along to an informal evening reception held by Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) at The Bradbury Centre, Bonar Bridge, Sutherland, on Wednesday 4 December from 7-9 pm.
SNH is the Scottish Government\'s advisor on the management, enjoyment, understanding and sustainable use of Scotland\'s nature and landscape.
Andrew Thin, SNH Chairman, will host the event along with SNH Board member, Ian Ross, Lesley Cranna, Unit manager for SNH Northern Isles and North Highland, and other members of her area team.
Andrew Thin said: \"The evening will give people the opportunity to have an informal discussion with senior staff about the work of SNH in the area what we do and why and the chance to raise issues about the natural environment which are of interest to them. It\'s also a really useful way for us to keep in touch with public perceptions of the organisation. We certainly hope many people will be able to come along and we look forward to meeting them on the night.\"
The event is free and light refreshments will be provided. For more information or to book a place, contact Ian Mitchell at Scottish Natural Heritage, The Links, Golspie, on 01408 634063 or ian.mitchell[AT]snh.gov.uk
