In a report , presented to Sutherland Councillors today, DACIC outlined their plans and applied to the Dornoch Common Good Fund for £20,000 to be paid over two years. They will also contribute £3,873 from their own funds to support the new post.
After members unanimously agreed to contribute £20,000 from the Common Good Fund, Chair of the Committee, Richard Gale said: "I’m happy to support this application for funding to go towards this new post. DACICA has a strong history of delivering projects in the town and I believe the moneyfrom the Common Good Fund over the next 2 years will be well spent."
