As you read this, whales, porpoises and dolphins may be cruising past our headland. Tigh nan Shian (pronounced Tie na She-an) is situated in Culkein on the Stoer peninsula in Assynt. It has panoramic views of the sea, Oldany Island, Handa Island bird sanctuary and the Sutherland mountains.
